ZIP code for a street address

Unlike the other tools here, this one forwards the address you type to the US Census geocoder, because matching a street address needs their address database. We do not store it.

Notes

  • The geocoder matches against address ranges, so it returns the ZIP code for the block, which is what you want in almost every case.
  • It covers the United States only.
  • For many addresses at once, use the API — the geocoder rate-limits heavy interactive use.
