Terms of use
The service
zipcodes.pro publishes United States ZIP code reference data. You may use the site and its free endpoints for any lawful purpose, subject to these terms and to the data licence.
Accuracy
The data is compiled from third-party public sources and is provided as is, without warranty. ZIP code boundaries are approximations (Census ZCTAs) and demographic figures are survey estimates with margins of error. Do not use this data as the sole basis for emergency response, legal, tax, insurance-rating or compliance decisions.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits or scrape the site in place of using the API or the dataset downloads.
- Do not redistribute the bulk dataset inside a product without the redistribution licence.
- Do not present the data in a way that implies USPS affiliation or endorsement.
API and paid plans
API plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe. Exceeding your plan's included requests returns an HTTP 429 with an upgrade link; we do not bill overage automatically. You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Dataset purchases include twelve months of updates from the date of purchase.
Refunds
If a dataset download does not work or the data is materially not what this site describes, email us within 30 days and we will refund it.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
